Fade Percentage Guide — Karambit, Glock & Every Fade Skin

Fade skins are priced by how much of the colour gradient wraps the weapon. 100% Fade is a full pink-to-yellow gradient, decreasing in percentages down to 80%. Knives and select pistols (Glock-18, USP-S) are the main premium Fade skins. Percentages come from a deterministic formula applied to pattern seed.

100% Fade

Tier 1

The entire weapon shows the full pink → purple → yellow fade. Single most valuable tier.

Seeds: Pattern 1 (seed gives full gradient wrap)Premium: 1.5–3× base (for knives: up to 5× base)

90%+ Fade

Tier 2

Visually almost indistinguishable from 100%. Most traders accept 90%+ as "full fade" pricing.

80–89% Fade

Tier 3

Noticeably less pink coverage. Still tradable above base but at a smaller premium.

Notes

Always confirm Fade percentage with a pattern checker before buying — the in-game preview can mislead at certain camera angles.
Amber / Acid / Forest fade variants use the same percentage scale but are priced separately.
